EOS Therapeutic Riding Center 

The EOS Therapeutic Riding Center in Bloomsburg, PA provides more than 2,500 therapeutic horseback riding sessions each year for children, adults, and veterans with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges. Serving roughly 90 riders from seven surrounding counties, EOS uses the warmth, movement, and connection of horses to help individuals build strength, balance, confidence, communication, and independence. Each session is personalized, combining outdoor exercise, meaningful interaction, and goal-driven activities designed to support mobility, emotional well-being, and cognitive development. Located on a 12-acre farm at Crystal Creek Acres—with an indoor arena, outdoor ring, pastures, trails, and specialized skills stations—EOS offers a safe and encouraging environment where riders can grow and thrive. Funds from this Think Local submission will be used to purchase a 14½” 1439 Roughout Trainer, a specialty saddle that prevents riders from sliding and provides essential stability, helping ensure the safety of every rider during their sessions.
